Media
Users who upload media files via our Contact Form should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We collect additional personal data only with your consent, such as an email address if you wish to sign up to a mailing list or your name, address, phone number and email address if you complete a contact form or quote request form on our website. This information is used to contact you on the basis of your inquiry. It is not shared with anyone outside of Dartco Transmission and is used only for our communications with you for the purposes outlined on the original forms. Who we share your data with
When filling out a Quote Request, your data is shared with WooCommerce, a third party software that manages the quote system on the website.
Website hosting is provided by WP Engine, a third party website hosting service.
How long we retain your data
Information collected via our Contact form and Quote Request form is imported into our internal customer database and is used only for the communications approved when completing these forms. Your information is kept indefinitely while you are an active customer, and for no more than XX months/years once inactive. Persons may opt out of communications at any time by contacting us at info@dartcotransmission.com.
What rights you have over your data
If you have completed our Contact form or Quote Request form, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

You have the right to access and rectify your personal data, to restrict the processing of your data and, under certain conditions, to ask for your data to be deleted.
